Legacy Center Foundation Teen Leadership
Throughout my life, I’ve always just followed what everyone else was doing. When I did Legacy Center Foundation’s Teen Leadership, Program many things changed for me. I realized that I don’t need to follow the crowd. Following the crowd it not what life is about. There isn’t any point in trying to be like everyone else, we are all unique anyway. Before Legacy Center Teen Leadership, I had self-image problems. I do still sometimes have problems with my image, but I have become much more confident. After completing Legacy Center Teen Leadership (TL), I gave back by staffing the program. Staffing TL was amazing. It’s a great feeling knowing I’ve made an impact on someone else’s life. I really enjoyed watching some of the kids come through Teen Leadership and watch how they changed from the beginning to the end. Staffing Teen Leadership is a phenomenal experience, and make’s me excited for the kids in the program and their future. Knowing they left feeling good and confident is great. ♥
For me, the most valuable parts of Legacy Center Foundation Teen Leadership was when I got clear on who I get to be in the world. It was like I had the chance to start over. That is now what I live my life by. I now have choice. I am a strong, passionate, beautiful, caring, young woman. Whenever I feel unsure or nervous about something, I have choice about who I am and who I am is the first thing that pops into my mind. It calms me. If I ever feel lost I now have tools to get me connected to who I really am in the world.♥

This leadership program is unlike any other program I’ve ever been to. This program has changed my life for the better and I am a much better person because of the things i’ve been exposed to in this program. I LOVE LEGACY TEEN LEADERSHIP! It’s the best thing i’ve done for my life.
Lindsay Chase I did the teen leadership and it was so amazing I made new friends and everything I still keep in touch with them and they are amazing. raised my confidence level a lot and my friends that I made I can trust with anything and they are there when I need them I love the Legacy Center after taking teen leadership i have a new found respect for them.
Legacy Teen Leadership was definitely a life changing expereince for me. I wasn’t always the kid who wanted to make new friends or who lived to see people smile, but since the training I’m happier than ever. I love TL and I’m gonna keep doing it until I cant anymore!!
I got to see what it truly means to lead. I learned that leading means not
only developing myself, but also developing others. I learned the value of
integrity and keeping my word. I learned that I could make my dreams happen
with focus and commitment, and help others to do the same. I am now in my
second year as a Naval Academy student. This was my dream when I took the
teen training. Now it is my reality. Many of the values and qualities I
developed in myself by participating in the training have helped me to get
to where I am now.
